Off The Shoulder

Another off the shoulder top but who cares, They are everywhere at the moment and the more I can grab my hands on the better. This lace one is so feminine and could be worn with jeans like below or you could even team with a gorgeous pencil skirt for a more night time look.
Lace is my favourite fabric, I love using Lace especially when experimenting with outfit textures. Lace on Lace is even better, so it was a no brainer when this lacey garment grabbed my eye.
I know in terms of styling you could do so much more with this top, however you can also put on very basic pieces and your outfit can still look as good. I have teamed with my trust worthy skinny jeans and nude heels for that minimal look.
I do love trends but I think for trends to work and to be sustainable in terms of money you need to incorpate key trend pieces into your style not completely change your style everytime a new season comes along. I think that is where people make mistakes and Fashion disasters happen.

The Stripe

I love a stripe, who doesn’t love a stripe…
I never usually wear a Trouser stripe and from now on I am on board. Black Trousers are my go to but when you’re wanting something a little different these are perfect. They are a staple piece in my wardrobe now, as you can dress them up with a barely there heel or you can dress them down with a sandal or some trainers for that more casual look.
For evening drinks I love wearing these Trousers as like I said they are just a little bit different than your usual black skinny jean.
My body is from Boohoo, usually it’s all about the tight body for me however, at the moment I am loving wearing oversized pieces. My bag believe it or not is from Primark and was only £10. I was after a little black box bag with some gold hardware for a particular outfit and I came across this one which was perfect. I love the added croc print, and the best thing is it has a chain so you can wear it as a cross body which I am loving at the moment, or as a clutch.

Let's go to the Races

The Racing season is ahead of us, girls of all ages get dolled up and head off to the course to drink processo, place a bet on some horse that has a good name and hope for the best, well that's what I do anyway. As I live in Chester which is home to Chester Racecourse there is always usually an excuse to get all the girls together and make a day and night out of it. I'm sure this year will be no exception.
This year I have decided to opt for a classic suede black dress from Boohoo, teamed with my favourite ivory printed jacket from Zara and my Office Leopard Print pony heels.
Once the racing is over we then head out in to town so this outfit is perfect for both occasions. Race days are very long so I always make sure I am comfy (ish) and take a jacket for when it gets abit cooler later on.

What will you all be wearing this racing season?

The Culottes

Where have you been all my life…
This is pair number 2 and I may love them even more than my others. This pair is from H&M and are heaven, they are the comfiest thing I own right now.
I am loving this look at the moment, the ways to style these are endless and it is something new to play with instead of the basic skinny jeans.
My personal favourite way to style Culottes is very casual, usually with my Adidas Superstars, for this particular outfit I had no idea where I had tidied them away.
For this post I teamed them with a chunky knit from Missguided and my Converse, I then added my KG’s for that more put together look. Culottes are perfect if you want to play around with shapes and textures. You can wear a tighter body and heels for that night time look. Or add a chunky knit/over sized tee for that basic clean line finish.

Let me know if you are feeling this spring summer trend.
