Leather and electric

Shoes- Office (Similar)
Coat- Missguided (Similar)

On a Friday night when going out for some drinks, occasionally the last thing I can be bothered doing is getting all dolled up after a long day at work. This is when a hair updo comes in handy.
For drinks I usually team up a sharp edged top with some leather trousers, then I inject a pop of colour into my outfit through either my shoes or bag, for this outfit I went for electric blue heels from OFFICE. On these winter nights a coat is a necessary, and it doesn't need to be a frumpy old thing, your coat can be the bell of the ball.

Coat- H&M- (Exact match)
Dress- Primark
Long Boots- Zara (Similar here)
Ankle Boots- Kurt Geiger (I bought mine 2 years ago and they are still available now)
Roxie Poodle (one of a kind and not for sale)

Having a Dog means lots of Dog walks needed, I always need to make sure my Outfit can change for whatever the day holds. My morning usually starts with taking Roxie for her first walk of the day so this means a warm coat for these Autumn days and flat shoes so I can keep up with her. I then usually need a quick change for Work so will swap my flats for my heels and i'm ready for the day.

Winter Florals

This has to be one of my favourite outfits! I love this skirt so much, I know it's a summer piece but sometimes your Summer wardrobe mixed with your Winter one is the best combination a girl could ask for. Who wants to put all their Summer wardrobe away for another year, especially if you live in the UK and you hardly get to wear any of them.

The key piece in this look is the white patterned floral skirt,  so I decided to team it with a polo neck Jumper and ankle boots for a daytime look, and then switch it up for a nighttime look with my favourite leopard print heels and a wraparound bodysuit.
This skirt makes me feel so confident and feminine, it's a piece that can live in your wardrobe all year round and for years to come.

Missguided Staple Coat

Sometimes I don't feel like putting much thought into an Outfit and that's why I love Autumn so much! You can literally just throw on a chunky statement Coat and some Winter boots and that's it your good to go! (Who know's what youve got on underneath, Odd socks, A Pyjama top....)

My Coat is from Missguided last winter, But i've found myself reaching for this on cold morning's when I just need to throw something over the top! It's one of those Coats that you can dress up or down and that's the reason it's my go to!

I've had mine since last year but there are 2 lookalikes on the Missguided website now, which I would purchase tomorrow if I had anymore space in the section of my wardrobe for Black coats. (unfortunately, it's pretty full)

The White Company

How does The White Company do it? How does it make nearly every person walking past go in and purchase/want to buy everything in the entire shop!
When walking through the City I try an avoid it as my bank balance can’t handle it.
My most recent purchase is their Bath Foam in the iconic Seychelles scent. I’m trying to use this sparingly, only for special occasions as not only does it make my Skin feel luxurious and me feel like a new Woman but it gives my Bathroom a little bit of “Je ne sais quoi”.

Now that it's pretty much Christmas I can start writing my list which usually has a couple of products on it:

    Fringe Clutch- Stone

I have been pretty good this year so maybe just maybe I may get one... Let me know in the comments what you're wishing for.
At the moment there is 20% off and free delivery if you use voucher code AG833
Happy Shopping!!!

L'oreal Skin Care

Recently I was in my local Boots and noticed there was a 3 for 2 on all L’Oréal products. I've been a little naughty with my Skin routine for the last couple of weeks, and I think it's due to me not being excited by the products I've been using. I decided to purchase a Cleanser, Exfoliator and night cream to see if I woke up in the morning with rejuvenated skin and whether Drug store could be just as good as high end.

The First is the L’Oréal Miracle cleansing oil, this formula is a bit oily for my skin, I'd say I have normal to dry skin so anyone who already has oily skin this would probably be a no go. In terms of removal I found that around the eyes I had to apply a little extra after I had washed off the first cleanse as I still had mascara residue around the bottom of my eyes. One thing I will say however is it leaves your Skin feeling hydrated and full of moisture.

I then followed on using the L’Oréal Radiance revealing gentle exfoliator. This is a favourite of mine. It’s soft on the skin, has a fresh fragrance and leaves your skin feeling radiant. I don't usually like using exfoliators everyday as sometimes I find them a little harsh on my skin but this one is a new discovery that is now part of my evening routine.

Once my face is dry, I finish my routine off by using the Triple active night cream. This has to be one of my favourite night creams as it’s thick, bouncy and soaks into your skin straight away but leaves it feeling dewy. I know people like their moisturiser to sink in fast and I am one of them people when it comes to body moisturiser, however with my Face I'm all for slow absorption.

Over all these Products have been good to me. I won't be repurchasing any of them straight away, not because I haven't enjoyed using them, but yanno 'there's plenty more fish in the sea'.

Better things and new beginnings

My little space on the Internet has been shown neglect for a couple of months, I didn't mean to but when big stressful things happen other things have to take a step back and this one was of them. I've been saying for the past month c'mon start writing again, find that motivation that you once had but when you have a full time job that is also a brand new one it's hard to take a couple of hours out and focus on a hobby that you love instead of working some extra hours in work or cleaning a Kitchen.

So tonight I washed my hair, fed my animals, made a cup of tea, plugged in my Laptop and started writing.

So what has been keeping me from sitting down and reeling off my thoughts?
Here's a little catch up ...

I bought my very own apartment all by myself, yep thats right I now have bills to pay and a Kitchen to clean.... (I haven't managed to get my own cleaner just yet)
If you haven't bought a house then let me tell you, It's the most stressful thing I have ever done, it took about 3 months from me putting in an offer, to getting the keys. From the start it was papers upon papers upon stress upon stress. I had a headache everyday for 3 months (give or take) as soon as I got the keys my Headache was non existent.

At the same time my House was completing I also got a new Job.... (which is amazing I know but also stressful)
What do they say the 5 most stressful things are?? I'm sure moving and a new job are in there somewhere.

So the last couple of months I have been in tatty clothes covered in paint, Paint in hair, paint on legs, paint on feet... paint everywhere! Things are starting to come together....

Once things finally settled down we found a Kitten that wasn't wanted and left out in the bushes, We took her in and have named her Xena (the warrior Princess). She's very photogenic I must say.

Roxie's getting used to the idea of living amongst a Cat, so far it's going well.... sometimes, only time will tell I guess.

So for now I'm gonna wrap it up, and play with my 2 sleepy furbabies but I will be back with my favourites and I will be showing my little space on the Internet alotta love from now on!
