Clinique Take off the day is a little pot of pure bliss, I bought it over a year ago and have now had to replace it. It's one of the best Cleansers I have ever used, A little more pricey than some Cleanser's you can buy from Boot's but it is totally worth it. Usually a tub of this lasts me around 3 months (even with a couple of Triple cleanses a month).

Clinique Take off the day is a deep everyday cleansing balm. This is a solid Balm and then once massaged into skin transforms into liquid form. You then rinse off with warm water, and skin is left feeling moisturised and thoroughly clean. You only need a pea shaped amount for it to break down all your make-up whether its a thin layer of Tinted moisturiser or a full face of Foundation for a night on the town.

I would say this Balm is for both Oily and dry skin as it's a non greasy formula but leaves Skin feeling like its had a very Deep Moisturise.

I bought mine from my local Boots, You can also buy it from John Lewis, Selfridges or from Clinique all retailing at £22.

Garnier Micelluar Water

I have been wanting a Micellar Water for a while now, Just to try and see how I find it. I was always going to buy Bioderma but it was just one of those products that I never got round to purchasing. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a Micelluar Water as I didn't know whether I would like just taking off my Make up with a product and not having to use Water to remove my Make-up. (There's a lot to be said about feeling a lot cleaner using Water to remove product).
When I was in my local Asda I saw this Garnier Cleanser and popped it in my basket, I'd heard a lot of brilliant reviews about it on other Beauty Bloggers Websites, and that was it we have been friends ever since.
I didn't have any expectations of this product as it was a £4 buy so if it wasn't great there wasn't a huge dent in my bank account, but it really is brilliant!

My First Impression

I applied a couple of squirts to a cotton pad until it was soaked through and then placed it on my Eye Make up, gently removing my eye make up from inside my eyes to out. I was surprised at how quickly my make up was coming off. After my eyes I used 1 more cotton pad to remove my Skin Make-up and again in one gentle stroke my Skin Make-up was off.
The one thing I was worried about was the formulation and not having to use water to remove my Make-up however due to how light the formulation of the product was this was not a problem at all.

After using this product now for 2 weeks, My Make-up comes off a treat even if I have been wearing alot of Make-up all you may need is an extra Cotton Pad. I haven't seen any benefits to my complexion,  just clean skin without any blemishes or any breakouts. This product doesn't have a smell to it but I find it very refreshing on the skin. For £4 I really do think this is a must have especially if maybe you love Face wipes instead of actual Bottle Cleansers. It's also a great option for people who don't have the time to cleanse, tone and moisturise but wish they did.

2015 New Year Resolutions

This year I decided I wanted my New Years Resolutions to be making a better me both Physically and Mentally.

So then it was a case of figuring out how I was going to do this, without making unrealistic goals that I am never going to keep.

The first part of this big Resolution is the Physical Part.
I've always said my happy weight is between 8.7 and 9 stone, However i've realised that this could be 9 stones worth of fat or 9 stones worth of muscle, This is what I need to change! Having a full time job makes it hard to exercise as when I get in from work all I want to do is walk my dog, eat then either watch youtube videos, tv or read my book. Then before you know it its Friday night and I'm getting ready to go out all weekend and then its Monday, then before you know it a year has past cause you've never changed your pattern of thought. This is what I'm changing this year.  I know I will not go to the gym as i've failed so many times in the past so instead of going to the gym for a run, As soon as I come in from work and walk my dog instead of walking her I will run with her. I also want to take up Yoga, again I know I won't get to a Yoga class, so instead I will be be doing Yoga with Adriene on her youtube channel.

I am also going to add into my life a lot more Green Smoothies as I drink smoothies all the time but they are mostly fruit based, so I am going to bite the bullet and buy some seeds and super food powders to go into these. I already have a Nutri bullet so there are no excuses really.

The second part is the Mental part.
This is more about my attitude to life so the main thing that really annoys me is putting things off, and I am the worst at this. So instead of hoping and waiting that things will work out and instead of relying on the saying "things happen for a reason" and "what will be will be" I'm going to make a New year saying of "just do it" and "do it now, not tomorrow".

With doing exercise and some new Green Smoothies I'm sure that my energy levels will increase so this means I wont be too tired to just "do it now"!!!

My other Resolutions don't need any explanation these are...

3) Travel to more Cities
4) Go Skiing (even if it has to only be a dry Ski Slope)
5)Be Happy

Did I stick to all 2014 New year Resolutions?

Every Year when I get my new Diary I write down the things I accomplished in the past year and the things I want to accomplish in the New year, with this I also write down what I got for the christmas just gone and my New Years resolutions for the coming year.
Looking back on my Last years resolutions there wasn't anything huge to accomplish, just little things that I thought "maybe I can actually do these".

They went something like this...

  1. Only eat Chicken Nuggets 1x per week
  2. Don't gameplay!
  3. Stay under 9 stone but above 8stone.7lbs
  4. Be happy and don't take anyone for granted whilst telling people how much they mean to you.
  5. Know if my career is the path I want to take.
These are random I know but there is reasons behind all,  
  1. Chicken nuggets were and are still my favourite part of a meal and the year before last all I ate was Chicken Nuggets, So even though this sounds like a small thing and it was, but for me to turn down these glorious things was a hard task.
  2. Dont game play- I used to be a real nuisance for not saying how I felt or for not ever expressing my feelings, This im still struggling with but I now tell people what I feel a little more instead of just say Mmm-hh.
  3. I used to care a lot about my weight when I was younger always saying i'm going on this regime or another. But looking back now there wasn't any need as I can eat pretty much what I want and get away with it, this I know will one day bite me on the bum but for now whilst I can I may as well enjoy it.  I do eat pretty healthy anyway but if I want a take away I'm gonna have that take away. All I set myself was to stay under 9 stone but over 8.7.

The rest are pretty self explanatory but for the first year ever I think I have completed all resolutions and its a pretty nice feeling.

My 2015 resolutions are on their way, i'm taking the same stance on them as I did last year.
